Boko Haram launch attack against oil workers.

 Vanguard reports that the incident occoured on Tuesday, July 25 when the oil workers who were working for a subsidiary of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation were ambushed by the terrorists. 

It was reported that some members of the Civilian Joint Task Force who accompanied them were also feared dead. Top politicians in the region on the condition of anonymity confirmed the attack. Meanwhile, Four Boko Haram suspects including a father and son affiliated with the group were arrested by some soldiers in conjunction with vigilantes at Kurnari village and Nayinawa in Yobe state. The army spokesperson, Brig-Gen Sani Usman, in a statement on Tuesday, July 25, stated that the insurgents were arrested on Monday, July 24, by troops of 233 Battalion, 27 task force brigade of Operation Lafiya Dole with the assistance of vigilantes who were on routine patrol. 

General Usman gave the names of the suspects as Bukar Waziri, aged 25 years and Mammade Lawan, aged 20 years, from Buk, while the father and son, Muhammadu Damina, aged 40 years and Isah Muhammadu aged 15 years, were from Talala.
