Save the Plateau Child Food Drive & Festival of Hope Concert!
Save the Plateau child, is a project put together by four orphanages. The idea is to bring to our notice the plight of disadvantaged children in Plateau State &
how we all can contribute to providing a nurturing environment for their
development.
Other Aims:- To reduce cases of HIV/AIDS on orphans.
To speak out against every form of violence & discrimination.
To provide free education for every orphan in Plateau State under the University Basic education program.
About the food drive, starting from 1st June to10th August, we collect food donations. The food
drive is a great opportunity for everyone who has got a large heart to try, and get involved, for it feels good when you donate for the needy. We encourage that the government, individuals, corporate organizations, families & the community at large to donate, and we donate as low as just 1000 naira for our own children that are homeless.
Festival of Hope concert:- It is a fund-raising event where a mass choir
of orphans & vulnerable children from four orphanages in Jos, Plateau State, the school of the blind, Gingiri-declare hope in songs.
Recently to help make this movement grow bigger, organizations such as DIAMOND SHE AFRICA, SKY HITZ GLOBAL MALAYSIA, and SWAGG NEWS AFRICA are now supporting the program.
