Disclaimer: Photo Evidence Proving The Crowned #QueenJosCarnival2018 Came to Camp With Other Contestants from Day One.

2018 Jos Carnival Crowned Queen "Marjanatu Douglas"
After the successful #KingQueenJosCarnival2018 the organizers of the event came to the notice about an online written protest posted on a huge Plateau State group via facebook platform laying a complain that the crowned Queen didn't deserve it because she appeared on the grand finale without being in camp nor auditions...

A disclaimer with photo evidences has been released to clear the above petition. The general public needs to be cleared of the on going misunderstand too. Here's what the chairman of pageant committee Henry Goyang sent us for publishing.

"I want to thank you all sincerely and immensely for your interest in the Carnival Pageantry activity while this gesture is highly appreciated considering the fact that I believe it's coming from genuine and passionate heart, some facts need to be out here for the good of the general public.

First the carnival pageantry audition held on the 21st January 2018, but after the Audition, the windows of entrance were left opened until 3 days to the pageantry because of some organisational exigencies
one of which was the fact that we needed more models to be part of the process in order to carry everyone along and to replace some who dropped along the way for personal reasons.

Secondly, that the 2018 Carnival Queen did not take part in camp activities IS TOTALLY NOT TRUE AT ALL.  Kindly visit all our social media handles and see for yourself that in the video for arrival at camp she features prominently.

Lastly, the fact that her picture was not in the catalog was nothing but the printers error just as you would observe that there was another contestant Precious Daniel (Miss Joseph Gomwalk) in the catalog who was not part of eventual contestants.

To avoid any doubt, the Carnival crowned Queen - Murjanatu Douglas took part in ALL camp activities that formed the criteria for the judging and crowning the Carnival Queen. Thanks.

And I  make bold to say this is the kind of observation we need to make the carnival project a worthwhile. We look forward to more of such forward looking positive criticisms."
