ODE TO GREATNESS: Daniel Dung Dalyop Jnr.

Daniel Dung Dalyop Jnr. A.K.A Darf-D

Born on August 28th 1978; Mr. Daniel Dung Dalyop Jnr. A.K.A Darf-D, is eight out of...
ten children born to Mr and Mrs Daniel Dung Dalyop Snr. in Kuru. A native of Gyel in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State, Daniel Dung Dalyop did not allow the challenges of growing up deter him from what he saw as a life of service and sacrifice to his people.

The quest for education saw him through Saint Rita's Nursery and Primary School Vom, United Faith Tabernacle College Jarawan Kogi, Government College Pankshin, Plateau State Polytechnic Barkin Ladi where he devoted his time to the study of Public Administration.

A passionate crusader for civil rights and privileges, he has been consistently involved at all levels of student unionism from departmental level to National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS) level for over 16 years. He considers himself not just a human rights Activist but a people champion.

As a card carrying and an integral component of the ruling All Progressives Congress, he actually flew the flag of the party at the March 28th National Assembly Elections to represent the wonderful people of Jos South / Jos East Federal Constituency at the Federal House Of Representatives, waving the people on to the ideals of equity and service. Despite not being returned as a winner in the elections which pitted him against the longest serving commissioner in the history of Plateau State, his doggedness put the party in good stead during the build up to the elections until the entire strength and political might of heavyweights within the rival PDP was brought to bear before our promising, young, energetic and determined hero and politician could be stopped. After the elections were declared, he didn't lick his wounds nor did he run into hibernation rather our youth advocate and grassroots assembler just like countless great men of old dusted up
himself and hit the road to ensure that his immediate constituency was not left out of the path of the wind of change that was blowing across the land.

His efforts at protecting the sanctity and integrity of votes the APC got in Jos South Local Government is legendary. The energy and intelligence he brought to the fore during the collation of votes in the Bukuru area is still considered as one of the reasons widespread electoral malpractice was not perfected in that opposition stronghold and everyone who watched the live collation of votes at the Plateau State INEC office will readily remember how this young man challenged INEC Local Government returning officers who had attempted to illegally tamper with certain figures until due process was insisted upon.

Investing a great deal of energy in spreading the gospel of change across all media platforms on the Plateau Mr. Daniel Dung Dalyop Jnr. believes that the progress of the individual is the progress of the State and this he readily exhibits in his personal life having been a Finance Administrator with Madinat Jumeirah, a Senior business development executive with Greenhouse Impex all in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, a Senior Business Development Executive with Strong Solutions Limited in Nigeria, General Manager, Goshen Gwottson Group of Companies at one point to another. Through his passion at ensuring that the Plateau people experience a better life he does not fail to carry his people along.
Understanding the immense power of the media Darf D. engages the media as a veritable tool for spreading the message of progressive change and reaching out to his people. His radio and TV engagements as always, receives positive reviews from the listening and viewing public while his social media contributions help shape important discuss among users, proving yet again that gifted and determined young people like himself can contribute progressively to their country.

With Mr. Daniel Dung Dalyop Jnr, Service to his state and country comes first and thus the Plateau people has benefitted and still has a lot to benefit from individuals like Darf D. who are willing to selflessly be of service to their state and people irrespective of tribal affiliations.  In this vein Mr. Daniel Dung Dalyop Jnr. has used his time and energy to help the Lalong/Tyoden led Change Government on the Plateau to meet voter expectations and deliver on the promises made to the good people of Plateau State. In this regard, he has served on a number of committees between pre-inauguration and the present day.

The Plateau government is the better for youthful citizens and leaders like Mr. Daniel Dung Dalyop Jnr. who have progressively engaged his community towards landmark achievements in the areas of infrastructures, youth empowerment, sports and socio-cultural development. The people of Plateau can today beat their chest proudly at having focused and creative leaders, they can declare that as a son of the soil, indeed, Mr. Daniel Dung Dalyop Jnr. has done well and set him up on a pedestal to be emulated by youthful leaders across the nation.

It is no news that Hon. Mafeng Gwallson is doing an incredibly commendable work within his constituency and getting the youths and younger generation of leaders ably represented at both the State and local government levels thereby making Plateau young leaders exceptionally proud.

Progressive youths on the Plateau strongly believe without the slightest shade of doubt that in the stead of Hon. Mafeng Gwallson, if given the opportunity to serve as a commissioner Mr. Daniel Dung Dalyop Jnr. Will identify with the younger generation, bridge the gap between the aged and the young, achieve greater things for his people and take the State to heights that can only be imagined.

Extremely comfortable in the company of youths and progressively responsive to their welfare, he has chosen to use his time in inspiring young people to great feats and empowering them every chance he gets to be able to be economically self-sufficient. He is a business development professional and a farmer who engages his leisure time in reading, writing, travelling, blogging, making and keeping friends.

Young people across the world are changing global landscapes in leadership, let it therefore be known that Progressive Plateau youths are unshakably behind Mr. Daniel Dung because just like Hon. Mafeng Gwallson, A peace ambassador, a staunch believer in the dignity of human life, an upholder of cultural values, a champion of cohesion and communal integration irrespective of tribe or philosophical differences. A true friend and brother Mr. Daniel Dung has indeed proven that he is a progressive and youthful change leader and if given the opportunity to serve within the government that change will shine even brighter for all to see and experience.

LONG LIVE THE EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR OF PLATEAU STATE!
LONG LIVE PLATEAU STATE!
LONG LIVE NIGERIA!
