Abuja Agog As 2013 Edition Of Miss FCT Pageant Holds In Style !!!




Miss FCT 2013 has come and gone but the memories still linger. It was a indeed an occasion that lived up to its billing with regards to its packaging and audience turn out. The much publicised event especially through the social media championed by GLeesMEDIA an integrated marketing and communication company recorded appreciable number of people from far and wide.



The Federal capital territory based beauty pageant which paraded on  stage young leggy beauty ambassadors representing selected Nigerian states, projected the nation's rich cultural strength on their tradition outfits  as well as their high-power career presentation on colourful career costumes. It was obviously not a tea party for the contestants who were accessed based on Composure, Intelligence, catwalk and pre-judging in camp. Nevertheless , the girls put up admirable display on stage to the glaring attention of the judges. All in a bid to attract sympathy from the audience and score from the experienced Judges in the calibers of Valacci Joseph Ogli, Imoh Thompson, Winnifred Ekojo, Tamara Chollom   
                                              

It was indeed an emotional moment for Queen Hauwa Allabura when she mounted the stage to bid her fans farewell and thank families, friends, organisers and partners for standing by her all through her reign. The out-going queen recounted her experience and achievements with a beautiful demonstration on stage

The high point of the electrifying occasion was the crowning of pageant veteran Doowuese Chenille Ate-Ahur from Lagos state Miss FCT Queen 2013. Though coming into the pageant with experience of Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria (MBGN) and Miss Tourism pageants, she obviously did not disappointment with her composure and carriage on stage. During an Interview with GleesMEDIA, the new Queen of  Capital City of  the most populous black nation, had this to say " All I have to say is, Glory be to God, He is never late, at your time He will remember you.There is a time in life where you just have to be your own mentor, believe in your dreams, be courageous and let no obstacle take away your vision and that time is called Always."
                                           
Miss Cross Rivers and Miss Anambra came 1st and runner up respectively as several other awards were given to some outstanding contestants like Miss Amity, Best Traditional wear, Best Career, Best Dinner gown, Most Intelligent, Best Model and Miss photogenic

Other side attractions are displays from tradition troups from Benue and artists Gina, Flimzy,ECO,Wallywa etc.

Amongst faces that arrested attention at the event were the pronounce presence of beauty queens like Miss Ambassador For Peace, Beauty Istifanus, MBSN Democracy, Jasmine Mbonu,Queen Of Aso, Osalor Kome and former Miss Africa Naides, Jennifer Iwegbe.
                                         
 However, It is worthy to note that the winner has an official car for her office, cash prize of N500,000, Visa trip to Dubai including scholarship grant with the top five contestants beneficiaries of the grant power by famous NGO that empower youths-AFRICAN CHILDREN TALENT DISCOVERY FOUNDATION.
